Job Opportunity: Part-Time Handy Person / General Site Operative

We are looking to recruit two Part-Time Handy People / General Site Operatives to join our friendly and hardworking site team at Yaxham Waters.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. We're looking for reliable all-rounders who are comfortable carrying out general maintenance tasks, grounds maintenance, and assisting with hot tub servicing and checks (full training provided).
Position
Part-Time Handy Person / General Site Operative
Schedule
- 2 days out of 7 per week
- Includes weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
- Opportunities to work additional shifts covering holidays, sickness, and busy periods
- Typical start and finish times will vary depending on occupancy levels, seasonal requirements, and daylight hours

Responsibilities
- Carrying out general repairs and maintenance within holiday accommodation and site buildings
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and other maintenance duties as required
- Responding promptly to maintenance issues and ad hoc repair requests
- Assisting with grounds maintenance including:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge trimming
- Gardening and planting
- General site appearance and upkeep
- Conducting routine property inspections and checks
- Assisting with hot tub servicing, testing, cleaning, and changeover procedures (full training provided)
- Working closely with the wider team to maintain high standards across the site
Requirements
- Previous general maintenance, handyman, gardening, or facilities experience is desirable
- Practical skills across a variety of maintenance disciplines
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible approach to working weekends and Bank Holidays as part of a rota
