Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our glazing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows in a variety of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on-site. Duties
- Measure and mark window openings accurately to ensure proper fitment.
- Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations.
- Fit, secure, and seal windows using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building standards.
- Assist with related tasks such as minor carpentry, sealing, or finishing work as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in glazing and fitting windows.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in window installation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Pay: £35,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
