Job Summary
We are seeking one or two dedicated and flexible individuals to help us through the summer! This is a self-employed position.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous.
This is a self catering holiday let, hours will be on a Monday & Friday during changeover days throughout August and September.
Other hours possible, subject to bookings.
Also looking for someone to take on weekly cleans in x2 private houses. Tuesday & Thursday weekly throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, kitchens and bathrooms to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Ensure all surfaces are dust-free, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and store supplies appropriately
- Uphold confidentiality regarding guest information and property security at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and cleaning protocols is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
