Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible educator to provide attentive childcare for our 20 months old daughter one day (8 hours) per week. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, reliable, and able to create an enriching and nurturing environment. A degree-level qualification with 2.i or above is a necessity. This job is particularly suitable for postgraduate students currently researching on early childhood development.
Duties
- Supervise and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Take her to group activities and classes.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates and any concerns.
- Share with us, the parents, your knowledge and experience in early years development.
Qualifications
- Education to undergraduate level with at least 2.i or above. Extra education is a bonus.
- Understanding toddler/child psychology is desirable.
- Prior experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting is welcome.
- Excellent communication skills and patience.
- Ability to organise activities that promote learning and development.
- Reliable, punctual, organised, and trustworthy with a genuine passion for caring for children.
This position offers an enriching environment where you can make a positive impact on our seedling family. Our household also has a small dog, so any applicant should be comfortable with dogs.
