We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our venues, Covering areas of Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes. Duties
- Greet and manage guest entry, verifying identification and adherence to venue policies
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity within and around the premises
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Enforce safety protocols, including crowd control and emergency response procedures
- Perform regular inspections of the venue’s entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to ensure security integrity
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for record-keeping purposes
Experience
- Previous experience in security or customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods helps in proactively deterring theft and maintaining venue integrity
- First aid certification is advantageous, enabling you to assist in medical emergencies confidently
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting professionally with guests, team members, and emergency responders
