Salary: CAT Range Grade 4 - Points 12 to 14 pro -rota ( FTE £25,000 - £25402 )
Hours: 25 hours per week (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday), Term Time Only

About the Role
Are you a welcoming, highly organised administrator with a flair for design and event decoration? Newington Community Primary School is looking for a versatile School Administrative & Displays Assistant to serve as a key point of contact for our school community. This unique role blends daily administrative support, pupil welfare coordination, database management, and hands-on creative work for school displays and seasonal events.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of House Support: Provide a warm welcome to visitors, parents, and contractors while strictly managing safeguarding procedures, phone queries, and staffroom hospitality.
- Pupil Welfare & Catering: Coordinate daily meal counts and critical allergen data with kitchen staff, administer the Cool Milk and School Fruit & Vegetable schemes, and cover attendance duties during peak times.
- Arbor MIS Management: Maintain up-to-date pupil records, manage after-school club registrations, and oversee school trip consent tracking and payment processing via Arbor.
- Creative Design & Event Support: Design, print, and laminate school signage, certificates, and allergy cards. Lead the setup and prop production for key school events, including the annual Summer Fayre and Christmas Grotto.
- Reprographics & General Operations: Deliver efficient printing and lesson material prep for teaching staff, manage school photograph coordination, and support general administrative duties.

- Proficiency in data entry and administration, with experience or the ability to quickly learn the Arbor database system.
- Creative flair with practical crafting abilities to design displays, signs, and event decorations.
- Excellent communication skills to build positive professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and pupils.
