The Business Development Lead will lead the development of the Glasgow School of Art Highlands & Islands Campus as a high-value, future-focused asset, supporting overall income generation for research, innovation and educational programmes.
The role will integrate Rural Lab’s strategy and portfolio with synergetic opportunities across GSA’s research, innovation, knowledge exchange and education portfolio, to realise an enhanced campus profile, financial sustainability, and the development of strategic partnerships and positive international collaborations.
You should have a PhD or equivalent professional standing in a relevant discipline such business management with proven experience of leading major partnerships and operating at senior external level. You should also have extensive operational experience of effective business development in an academic environment, working across academic and innovation environments as well as a significant track record of securing major external funding.
