We are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join our team at the Ewloe site. This is a varied role that will support both the Yard and Steel Team, ensuring that company and customer requirements are met to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general yard operations, including picking, loading, and unloading orders.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and return it to the administration team.
- Cut steel lengths ready for fabrication or customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the steel stock shed.
- Assist welders on site during fabrication jobs.
- Learn to prep and spray beams, providing holiday cover when required.
Additional Support:
- Provide assistance to the Timber Yard team when not required by the Steel Team (expected to be infrequent).
