About the Role
TechEnvoys Digital Systems Italia SRL is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team in Manchester.
In this role, you will take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end accounting activities. You will work closely with senior finance colleagues and operational stakeholders to provide accurate financial information that supports business planning and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts: Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Month-End Close: Support and coordinate month-end activities, ensuring journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and periodic financial planning exercises.
Variance Analysis: Analyse actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and explaining significant variances.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for senior management and operational stakeholders.
Business Partnering: Work with department managers to understand financial performance, cost movements, operational trends, and future requirements.
Cost Control: Monitor expenditure, identify unusual cost movements, and support initiatives aimed at improving financial efficiency.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unusual items.
Cash Flow Support: Contribute to cash flow forecasting and provide information on expected receipts, payments, and working-capital movements.
Process Improvement: Review finance processes and recommend practical improvements to reporting accuracy, controls, efficiency, and automation.
Audit Support: Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audit requirements.
Compliance: Ensure financial records and reporting activities are completed in line with company policies, applicable accounting standards, and internal controls.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including management accounts, month-end reporting, budgeting, or financial analysis.
Qualifications: Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification is preferred.
Technical Accounting: Strong understanding of management accounting, accruals, prepayments, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Excel Skills: Advanced or strong intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial models, and data analysis.
Systems Experience: Experience using accounting or ERP systems such as Sage, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is advantageous.
Analytical Ability: Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify patterns, investigate discrepancies, and communicate meaningful insights.
Commercial Awareness: Able to connect financial results with operational activity and understand the commercial implications of financial performance.
Communication: Confident communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Organisation: Able to manage multiple deadlines, recurring reporting requirements, and competing priorities during busy month-end periods.
Mindset: Accurate, proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable taking ownership of financial information from preparation through to explanation.
