Temporary Position, Based in Penrith

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Cumbria Constabulary as an ICT Trainer.
.
Cumbria Constabulary is at the forefront of delivering technology-enabled change, and this role plays a key part in ensuring our workforce is supported to use new and existing systems effectively.
.
We are seeking a confident, organised and engaging individual to deliver ICT training across a range of systems. This will include supporting both project delivery and business-as-usual activity, helping to ensure that staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to adopt new technologies and ways of working.

Working within our Digital, Data and Technology environment, you will support a range of programmes and projects by designing and delivering training, as well as providing ongoing support to system users across the organisation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a proactive and adaptable approach, are essential for success in this role.

Working Arrangements
.
- We are recruiting to a temporary position (until December 2027).
- The role is full-time (37 hours per week).
- The role is based at Cumbria Constabulary HQ in Penrith; however, there will be a requirement to travel across the force area to deliver training and provide support.
- Opportunities for hybrid and remote working are available where appropriate; however, the nature of the role will require a regular on-site presence to support training delivery.
- The role operates in line with the Constabulary’s Flexible Working and Flexitime policies, offering flexibility around working patterns and hours, subject to line manager discretion and service needs.
