Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our facilities. Duties
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to maintain consistent cleanliness across all areas.
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain operational readiness.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning around operational hours, special events, or maintenance activities.
- Promote a positive team environment by motivating staff, providing feedback, and fostering professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital housekeeping roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively and inspire high performance.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to chemical handling, equipment use, and infection control practices.
