Early Years Apprentice
Full Time 4 Days Per Week
Glenangels Childcare – Cobham, Surrey
Are you leaving school or college and looking for a career that is rewarding, inspiring and offers genuine opportunities to progress?
At Glenangels Childcare we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Early Years Apprentice.
This is much more than an apprenticeship. It is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit team, learn from experienced professionals and build a long-term career in one of the most rewarding professions.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, wants to make a difference to their lives and is excited to learn every day.
About Glenangels
Glenangels is a bespoke childcare setting offering a truly unique home-from-home environment where children and families become part of our community.
We are proud of our three-year learning programme, where many children begin their journey with us as babies or toddlers and continue through to preschool before moving confidently on to school. This allows us to build exceptional relationships with children and families whilst supporting every stage of their development.
Our approach is personal, nurturing and ambitious. We believe every child deserves the very best start in life and our team works together to create meaningful experiences that children remember.
Because of this, we are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to grow with us.
Your Apprenticeship Journey
You will work alongside experienced practitioners whilst completing your Early Years qualification, learning how to:
- Understand children's development from babies through to preschool.
- Plan exciting learning opportunities through play.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and confidence.
- Build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Observe, assess and record children's learning.
- Complete children's daily diaries using our digital nursery system.
- Develop excellent safeguarding knowledge.
- Deliver outstanding care and education.
- Experience outdoor learning and Forest School.
- Become a confident and professional Early Years Educator.
As your confidence and skills grow, you will gradually take on more responsibility and learn to work independently whilst always having the support of your team.
