Part-Time Team Member – YO! Sushi Kiosk

£12.80 per hour
Part-time – 8 contracted hours per week, with additional hours available
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Team Member to join our team at the YO! Sushi kiosk inside Tesco Extra, Consett.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll help prepare fresh sushi and Japanese-inspired food while making sure our kiosk is clean, well-stocked and ready for customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing sushi and other menu items to YO! standards
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Keeping the kiosk clean, organised and well presented
- Preparing ingredients and completing daily food production
- Restocking products and monitoring stock levels
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Working as part of a small, supportive team
- Completing opening, closing and cleaning duties as required

- Willing to learn – previous sushi experience is not required as training will be provided
Hours:
The position is contracted for 8 hours per week, with opportunities to work additional hours depending on availability and the needs of the business.
Applicants should have some flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
Pay:
£12.80 per hour increasing to £13 per hour after 12 months
