Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning duties across different premises, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain a tidy workspace during and after cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with team members and clients effectively
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and professionalism in all interactions
- Basic driving skills are preferred for roles involving travel between sites or locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow health and safety guidelines diligently
