Job Summary:
Louis Hart Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Inspection Supervisor to coordinate inspection activities across engineering projects, equipment, and technical works. The role will help maintain consistent inspection practices, organise inspection workloads, and ensure findings are clearly documented and communicated to relevant engineering teams.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise scheduled engineering inspection activities across assigned projects
- Allocate inspection tasks according to workload and operational priorities
- Coordinate inspections of equipment, installations, components, and completed works
- Review inspection records and ensure findings are documented accurately
- Work with engineers, technicians, contractors, and project teams on identified issues
- Track outstanding inspection actions through to appropriate resolution
- Assist with planning inspections around project and maintenance schedules
- Maintain organised inspection reports, registers, and supporting technical information
- Highlight recurring defects or performance concerns for further engineering review
- Support consistent inspection procedures and practical quality improvements
- Provide management with updates on inspection activity, findings, and outstanding priorities
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering inspection, technical services, maintenance, quality, engineering operations, construction, manufacturing, or a related environment
- Good understanding of practical engineering or technical inspection activities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to coordinate inspection workloads and priorities
- Confident communication with technical teams and contractors
- Comfortable reviewing technical information, reports, and inspection records
- Strong organisation and practical problem-solving abilities
- Supervisory or senior technical experience is advantageous but not essential
- Engineering, technical, inspection, or related qualifications are helpful, with suitable practical experience also considered

Pay: £52,000.00 per year
