Salary Range: AE 1-4; £26.33 – £30.11 per hour (depending on qualifications and contracted courses)
Hours: Various, including evenings and possible weekends
We have an exciting opportunity at Southend City Community College for a Tutor of ESOL to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners to support them to develop the skills they need to have a better and brighter future. To do this successfully you:
- Will need to be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching of ESOL to groups of adults
- Will have the ESOL subject specialism qualification at Level 4 or higher
- Will have previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes
- Will need to have a Diploma in Education and Training at Level 5 (or be willing to obtain this within 3 years)
Ideally we are looking for applicants with daytime, evening and Saturday availability.
