Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is advantageous, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all public areas and corridors are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linen as required
- Adhere to organisational standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
