About the Role
Newry has a strong retail and commercial presence serving customers across Northern Ireland and the border region and at Mimimori Retail and Lifestyle Commerce we focus on creating reliable well organised retail operations that support both customer experience and business performance.
We are looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager who can take ownership of operational standards store performance stock processes service quality and continuous improvement across our retail activities.
You will work closely with merchandising ecommerce supply chain customer service and commercial teams to ensure day to day operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards across customer service stock availability and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management: Oversee day to day retail operations and ensure agreed standards are maintained across service stock processes and operational activity.
Performance Management: Monitor sales productivity stock availability service levels and operational measures and take action where improvements are required.
Stock and Inventory: Work with supply chain and merchandising teams to maintain accurate stock levels reduce availability issues and improve inventory performance.
Customer Experience: Ensure operational processes support a consistent reliable and positive customer experience across retail touchpoints.
Process Improvement: Review existing workflows identify inefficiencies and introduce practical improvements that strengthen productivity and service quality.
Team Coordination: Support retail teams with clear priorities procedures and operational expectations and ensure issues are escalated and resolved effectively.
Commercial Support: Work with commercial and merchandising teams to support promotions product launches seasonal activity and other key trading periods.
Stakeholder Management: Provide clear updates on operational performance risks priorities and improvement initiatives to relevant internal stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in retail operations store operations multi site retail ecommerce operations or a closely related commercial environment.
Retail Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail operations stock management customer service merchandising support and operational performance.
Commercial Awareness: Comfortable reviewing sales performance inventory information service measures and operational costs when making decisions.
Leadership Skills: Able to guide teams coordinate priorities and maintain clear operational standards and accountability.
Analytical Skills: Able to interpret retail performance data identify trends and use information to support operational improvements.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customer facing and support teams.
Organisation: Able to manage multiple priorities trading periods operational issues and improvement activities at the same time.
Tools: Experience with retail management inventory ERP POS reporting or workforce management systems is preferred.
Mindset: You are commercially aware organised and customer focused. You take ownership of operational challenges make practical decisions using available information and continually look for ways to improve service stock performance and overall retail efficiency.
Pay: £4,000.00-£4,800.00 per month
