About the Role
White Horse Medical Practice is a friendly, growing GP practice based in rural Oxfordshire. We are looking to recruit a proactive, enthusiastic and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care through face-to-face consultations, supporting the clinical team in delivering excellent services to our patients.
Please note: Phlebotomy experience is essential for this role
- Undertake venepuncture (phlebotomy) clinics.
- Carry out a range of Health Care Assistant duties within primary care.
- Support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide compassionate, professional care to all patients.
- Work collaboratively as part of the practice team.
Person Specification
Essential
- Phlebotomy experience
- At least 1 years’ experience as a Health Care Assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, caring and patient-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent).
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a GP practice.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- No weekends
- Full-time or part-time hours available
