Our Role opportunity;
We are a growing construction company delivering insurance repair and reinstatement works across London, Essex and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Administrator / Project Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and coordination of our insurance works.
Communication is extremely important to our business. A major part of our success comes from keeping clients informed, responding quickly and ensuring jobs continue moving forward.
We therefore need someone who is efficient, confident communicating with people and takes ownership of tasks rather than waiting to be chased.
The position will initially be predominantly remote, but applicants should be based within reasonable travelling distance of Ingatestone, Essex, as we expect the role to become hybrid/office-based as the business grows.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring emails
- Diary and appointment management
- Speaking with policyholders and clients
- Booking surveys and works
- Keeping clients updated throughout their works
- Coordinating subcontractors and appointments
- Updating client/insurance portals
- Maintaining job trackers and spreadsheets
- Raising and sending purchase orders
- Monitoring outstanding actions and chasing updates
- Tracking jobs from instruction through to completion
- Collecting completion information and documentation
- Closing down completed claims
- Preparing and submitting invoices
- Maintaining organised and accurate job records
- Identifying delays or issues and escalating them quickly
What We’re Looking For

- Able to manage multiple live jobs at the same time
- Proactive and comfortable chasing outstanding actions
- Quick and efficient when responding to emails and requests
- Confident using spreadsheets and online systems

- Reliable when working independently
- Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
Previous experience within insurance claims, construction, property maintenance, loss adjusting, housing repairs, facilities management or project coordination would be particularly advantageous.
However, attitude, communication and organisational ability are equally important to us.

We are looking for someone who can initially take ownership of the administration surrounding our insurance works but who has the ability and ambition to grow with the company.
As the business expands, there is potential for the role to develop into a full-time Project Coordinator / Office Manager / Operations position, with increased responsibility for the day-to-day running of our projects.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
