Responsibilities:
- Repair & Service cars & light commercial vehicles
- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with government regulations and standards
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
- Identify and document any defects or issues found during the test
- Perform necessary repairs or recommend repairs to ensure vehicles meet requirement
- Keep accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtained
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining test results and answering any questions
Qualifications:
- Must have Valid Class 4/7 MOT Tester license
- A minimum of 1 year as an MOT Tester is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle inspections and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and explain test results
