We are a growing renewable energy installer specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage Systems and EV Charging. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our installation team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and is confident working independently as well as leading and supporting installation teams.
The Role
You will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning a range of electrical and renewable energy systems across domestic and commercial properties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Solar PV electrical installations
- Inverter installation and connections
- Battery storage systems
- EV charge points
- Immersion diverter systems
- Fuse boards and associated electrical equipment
- AC and DC cabling
- MC4 connections and DC circuitry
- Testing, inspection and certification
- Connecting internet-enabled devices via Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GPRS
- General site organisation and maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, neatly and to a high standard
- Supporting and running installation teams
- Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician
- Test & Inspection qualification
- Minimum 5 years' electrical experience
- Own professional electrical tools
- Own Megger / multifunction tester and appropriate testing equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- CRB/background checked
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of workmanship
- Experience running or supervising electrical installation teams
- Professional and well-mannered approach
- Reliable, hardworking and responsible
- A "get it done" attitude
- Comfortable working at height and on ladders
- Able to reliably commute to our Trafford, Greater Manchester warehouse
Solar Experience
Solar PV experience is preferred but is not essential.
We are happy to consider experienced electricians who have the right attitude, electrical knowledge and willingness to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector.
Experience with battery storage, EV charging or other renewable energy systems would also be advantageous.
