Managing Director
Our companies are seeking a highly motived Managing Director, ideally with a CIMA qualification. The person will have a background in mechanical engineering, finance and IT background to manage our five companies operating world-wide within the oil, gas and hydrogen sectors. This extremely challenging role comes with a highly attractive salary and incentive package.

We are a family-owned global company that produces ultra critical valves for the world’s oil, gas and hydrogen industries, where exceptional quality and on time delivery is critical.
With operations spanning the UK, USA, Dubai, Malaysia and India, and a world-class Research & Development centre in Knutsford, we have ambitious plans to grow beyond our £100m turnover.
Our business model is to sub-contract our components, then assemble at our facilities in Knutsford and Chennai. Our culture is agile, entrepreneurial and decisive. The Role
With a world-wide headcount of 900 and a brand-new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai, and established engineering & sales office in Dubai, Houston and Kuala Lumpur, we are highly profitable, operating with zero debt.
Reporting directly to the Chairman you will manage our pre-tax profit objectives across all international entities including Oliver Valves, Oliver Valvetek, Oliver Twinsafe, and Oliver Valves India Pvt Limited. While each business operates independently, they are central coordinated.
Who We Are Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will be CIMA qualified, with a strong financial background gained within a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment. They will have extensive involvement in developing the objectives of the business, growing the profitability and broader business operations, with proven experience in successfully managing and developing people.
We are also seeking someone with a strong continuous improvement mindset who can embrace modern technology, including advanced IT systems and AI, to streamline processes, improve efficiency and support business growth.
