Shift: Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00.

Navara are recruiting for a Night shift Quality Technician who is looking to learn new skills, develop their career and to progress within a company.
Please be advised there may be heavy lifting involved.
Main duties:
- Receive, prepare and store samples for food safety, quality and function testing both on-site and at external laboratories, with regular interaction with Milling and Production teams
- Work proactively with operational teams to drive conformance and results
- Enter, retrieve and interrogate data and results within IT system
- Review results, both on-site and at external laboratories, against specifications and raise and investigate non-conformances for out of specification results and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure product testing and process checks are carried out at required times during the process in alignment with agreed deadlines. This includes timely product release, or putting product on hold for non-conforming product, per batch of product during any shift
- Proactively and responsively undertake audit responsibilities. These responsibilities include working with the team to be audit-ready at all times, providing support during inspections by external auditors and carrying out internal audits
- Work with colleagues across the business to investigate complaints and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with operational teams for review of documentation in line with legislation and other requirements on the SharePoint document management system
- Maintaining lab standards and good housekeeping
- Escalate critical issues
