Experienced Fencing Ganger - New Build Sites
Location: Business based in Dunscroft but working on various UK new build sites in and around Yorkshire.

About the Role
Hancock Fencing is looking for an experienced Fencing Ganger to join our team working on new build housing developments across the UK.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in new build fencing, be confident leading a gang, and take pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work as part of a fencing gang on new build housing sites.
- Install a variety of fencing and associated works, including:
- Featheredge fencing
- Close-boarded fencing
- Knee rail
- Post and rail
- Heras fencing
- Tree protection
- Gates and associated ironmongery
- Read and work from site drawings and specifications.
- Liaise professionally with site managers and other contractors.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Ensure jobs are completed fully and correctly before leaving site.
- Report any issues, variations or problems to the Contracts Manager.
- Ensure the gang has the correct tools, materials and PPE.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment responsibly.
- Complete site paperwork and job sheets accurately.
- Lead by example and ensure all members of the gang follow company and site rules.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a fencing ganger/team leader.
- Previous experience working on new build housing developments is essential.
- Good knowledge of different fencing systems and installation methods.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Must have your own reliable transport and be able to make your own way to our yard.
- Ability to lead a small team and organise work effectively.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in their work. You should be comfortable working to deadlines, managing a gang and dealing professionally with site managers and customers.
This is a hands-on role, so you must be prepared to work alongside your gang and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Rate of Pay
£ 36,400 per annum plus bonus (£ 700.00 Per Week)
