Bar & Games Supervisor Gameshow All-Stars Nottingham
Gameshow All-Stars is the award-winning team behind the UK’s first gameshow activity bar.
Following the success of our first two venues, we’re bringing the original Gameshow All-Stars experience to Nottingham: live gameshow challenges, giant buzzers, great drinks and just the right amount of competitive chaos.
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Bar & Games Supervisor to help launch the venue, lead brilliant shifts and create memorable experiences from day one.
The Role
This is not a standard hospitality supervisor role.
You’ll support the Venue Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, lead the team during shifts and make sure every part of the experience runs smoothly—from the first welcome and opening round to the final drink and last buzzer.
You’ll be part team leader, part gameshow host and part problem-solver. You’ll keep standards high, the team motivated and the energy flowing—even when several groups arrive at once and somebody has misplaced a vital piece of equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading shifts and supporting the smooth running of the venue
- Supervising, motivating and developing Gameshow Hosts and bar staff
- Welcoming guests and delivering high-energy gameshow experiences
- Keeping bookings organised and sessions running on time
- Maintaining excellent standards across the games, bar and guest areas
- Supporting staff training and helping new starters build confidence
- Handling guest questions, feedback and issues professionally
- Completing opening, closing, cleaning and safety checks
- Ensuring licensing, food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures are followed
- Reporting technical faults and maintenance requirements
- Supporting parties, corporate events and busy weekend sessions
- Stepping in wherever needed to keep the experience running brilliantly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in hospitality, leisure, events or entertainment
- A confident and supportive leadership style
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a room
- A positive, energetic and guest-focused attitude
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence making decisions and solving problems under pressure
- Reliability and a genuine willingness to take responsibility
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
- Confidence using tills, booking systems and scheduling platforms
Experience in bar operations, licensing, food hygiene or allergen management would be an advantage.
Why Join Gameshow All-Stars?
You’ll play an important role in launching a brand-new venue, shaping the team culture and helping establish Gameshow All-Stars in Nottingham.
As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to develop your skills and progress within an original, ambitious and award-winning entertainment brand.
You don’t need to be a television presenter.
You do need to lead confidently, care about the details and understand that pressing a giant buzzer is a very serious responsibility.
