Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker / Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various landscaping, construction, and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of projects.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments. Experience in this field is desirable.
Responsibilities -
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators.
- Supporting construction activities by digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assisting with site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials on-site
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Maintaining a tidy work environment to promote safety and productivity
Experience
- Previous experience desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and the use of hand tools or power tools is advantageous
- Experience operating excavators
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions are required
- A proactive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for success in this role
- CSCS card beneficial
- Driving Licence essential
Pay: £39,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
