The role
We are looking for experienced, hands on and commercially minded Multi-Site General Manager to support our future growth outside of the already existing Arcade portfolio.
This is a hands-on senior leadership role for someone who understands how to manage a complex, high-volume hospitality environment made up of multiple P&Ls, different brands and teams, all operating under one roof (c.£250k weekly revenue / 800-1.2k Covers a day).
In this role, you'll steer and work closely with your leadership team (General Manager, and HODs) to ensure that every part of the business performs brilliantly. From commercial performance and operational standards to guest experience and leadership team development, you will help create consistency across the venue and multiple P&Ls while ensuring that each brand/concept retains its own identity.
What experience you will have
- Previous experience as a Multi-Site General Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager within a high-volume restaurant Group
- Previous expertise of managing multiple P&L’s simultaneously (essential)
- A proven track record of managing complex, high-footfall hospitality operations
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, labour, revenue, cost control and overall operational performance
- Confidence using financial and operational data to identify opportunities and improve results
- Experience in developing General Managers, Heads of Department and senior venue teams
- A high standard for food, beverage, service and guest experience within a fast-paced environment
- The ability to create consistency across multiple concepts while respecting the identity and needs of each one
- Experience supporting growth, new concepts, openings or periods of operational change
- The ability to build strong systems, structures and leadership teams that support a growing business
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build strong relationships across different teams and operators
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach when things do not go quite to plan
- High standards, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality
- A visible, approachable leadership style and a willingness to be present within the operation
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when the business requires it
