Growing Luxury Care Home Provider
Aiyara Partners is delighted to be partnering with a growing care provider in the appointment of a Recruitment Manager to help build, implement and develop its internal recruitment function.
This is a brand-new role and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who also brings a broader understanding of HR and the wider employee lifecycle.
The immediate priority will be recruitment – reviewing the organisation’s current approach, implementing the right infrastructure and processes, improving direct sourcing and ultimately creating a recruitment function capable of supporting the business as it continues to grow.
A key part of the role will be the implementation and embedding of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Experience of recruitment systems and ATS implementation is therefore particularly valuable, with knowledge of Tribepad being highly advantageous.
Alongside recruitment, we're keen to speak with individuals who have also gained exposure to broader HR responsibilities and are comfortable operating as part of a wider People function.
The Role
Working closely with the senior leadership and HR teams, you'll take ownership of the recruitment function and help establish a consistent, effective and scalable approach to hiring across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the existing recruitment provision and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Leading the implementation and embedding of a new ATS across the organisation.
- Developing and standardising recruitment processes from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
- Delivering hands-on recruitment across a range of frontline, clinical, operational and management positions.
- Developing a stronger direct sourcing strategy and reducing reliance on recruitment agencies.
- Building proactive talent pipelines for business-critical and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Supporting and coaching hiring managers to improve recruitment capability and consistency.
- Improving candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Developing recruitment reporting and using data to monitor time-to-hire, source effectiveness, vacancy levels and recruitment performance.
- Supporting employer branding and attraction strategies.
- Working closely with HR colleagues to ensure recruitment aligns with the wider People strategy and employee lifecycle.
- Providing broader HR support where required, drawing upon previous generalist HR experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who is first and foremost an experienced recruiter, but who also understands how recruitment fits into the wider HR and People agenda.
You may currently be working as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, Recruitment Business Partner or in a broader HR position where recruitment has formed a significant part of your responsibilities.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within health, social care or another high-volume, multi-site environment.
- Experience recruiting across a broad range of roles, from frontline employees through to senior management.
- A strong understanding of direct sourcing, candidate attraction and talent pipelining.
- Experience implementing, improving or embedding an ATS or recruitment system.
- Knowledge of Tribepad would be particularly advantageous.
- Experience developing recruitment processes, policies and reporting.
- Confidence working with and coaching hiring managers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Previous exposure to generalist HR and a good understanding of the wider employee lifecycle.
- The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on – equally comfortable building the recruitment function as you are delivering recruitment yourself.
This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation at an exciting stage of its development and have genuine ownership over how recruitment is delivered.
You'll have the opportunity to build and shape the recruitment function, implement new technology and processes and create a recruitment approach capable of supporting the organisation's longer-term growth.
The preference is to appoint someone permanently, however the business is also open to considering experienced individuals who may initially prefer a fixed-term contract.
If you're an experienced recruitment professional with broader HR exposure and would be interested in hearing more, please apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
