Hunkydory Crafts are an award winning papercraft company, designing and manufacturing craft products in Preston, Lancashire. We are a well-established family run company who pride ourselves on our creative working environment.
We are currently looking for a confident and enthusiastic product designer to join our design team. You will play a key role in designing new products including metal cutting dies, clear stamps, stencils/masks, embossing folders and more! You will be involved in all aspects of the creative process, from research and planning, designing, packaging and photography and product testing.
We are looking for:
- A minimum of a BA level degree in a creative field or equivalent as well as some industry experience
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work to tight deadlines
- A professional manner when liaising with manufacturers and suppliers
- A self-motivated approach
- An interest in craft, card-making, scrapbooking and/or journalling
Our preferred candidate will have the following skillset:
- Excellent Illustrator knowledge with a particular interest in vector design
- Photoshop and InDesign skills an added bonus
- Drawing/illustration in different styles
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Able to work to strict guidelines
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas
- An interest in crafting would be a bonus!
- Must have a portfolio of content to showcase experience!
