Are you a skilled chef with a passion for quality, creativity and great food? The Early Bird Bakery is looking for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team and help deliver the standout dishes our guests love.
Following the expansion of our Kings Heath site, we’re busier than ever and entering an exciting new phase as we launch our new evening menu. We’re looking for a talented CDP to join the team, support our chefs and help maintain the high standards we’re known for across both our daytime and evening offering.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and execute our menus across brunch, lunch and our new evening service, ensuring every dish meets our quality and presentation standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, independent food business known for creative, seasonal cooking, with the chance to be part of developing and establishing our new evening offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Support menu prep, stock rotation and daily service.
- Work across daytime and evening services as required.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Contribute ideas for specials and new menu development.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy, quality-led kitchen.
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and beautiful presentation.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
- Flexibility to work across a rota that includes daytime and some evening shifts.
