Inspire the next generation of drummers.
£19–£24 per hour | Every Saturday morning | Regular weekly work | Northampton
This is an ideal role for a drummer looking to build a reliable weekly teaching income alongside performing, freelance work or other musical projects.
Drummers Link Music School is looking for an exceptional drum tutor to join our teaching team every Saturday morning.
This is a permanent weekly position with an established timetable, reliable income and a growing community of enthusiastic young drummers.
You'll teach from our fully equipped Northampton studio using our structured curriculum, with everything you need already prepared, so you can focus on what you do best: delivering outstanding lessons.
The Role
You'll lead energetic 45-minute group drum classes for up to five students, helping children develop confidence, musicality and strong drumming fundamentals in a fun, structured environment.
Our students don't just learn drum beats, they learn technique, reading notation, playing as a unit, and to perform.
Throughout the year you'll prepare students for showcases, workshops and our annual music festival, helping them build confidence on stage as well as behind the kit.
Every class should leave students excited to come back next week.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys teaching just as much as performing.
Someone who naturally connects with children, communicates confidently with parents and can lead a room with warmth, energy and authority.
You'll be just as comfortable encouraging a nervous seven-year-old as you are keeping five excited students focused and engaged.
If you've got that balance of enthusiasm, professionalism and classroom presence, we'd love to hear from you.

Applicants must have:
- A degree in Music or an equivalent professional qualification
- A minimum of one year's teaching experience
