The hours are:
Week 1
Friday 5 pm till 9 pm and sleep shift (finishes at 9 am)
Saturday sleep shift
Week 2
Thursday 8 am till 1 pm and then 5 pm till 9 pm
Friday 5 pm till 9 pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Duties:
- Assist residents with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals
- Support residents with mobility and physical activities
- Follow care plans to ensure individual needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Keep accurate records of care provided
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Experience in care home or home care settings is advantageous
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation
- Ability to follow and implement care plans effectively
- Proficiency in English language
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation purposes
