Do you have a passion for food? We are looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team at a locally renowned 4-star spa & hotel.
Working with our Executive Chef and friendly team your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients hfor our Italian/Mediterranean themed dishes
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and health & safety
- Learning about all sections of the kitchen
- Helping with deliveries of stock
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, positive, an excellent team player and possess the following skills: A real passion for cooking fresh food and the ambition to succeed
- Recognised industry qualification – Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience within the industry is preferred
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
- A flexible and self-motivated approach
- Fluent in spoken English
- Have a legal right to work in the UK

The role will cover a zero hour contract initially over any 7 day period with a variety of days and start times.
