Argyll Holidays are recruiting Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Hunters Quay Holiday Village, one of Scotland’s leading holiday parks, for the 2026 season.

Live-in accommodation possibly available
Location: Hunters Quay, Dunoon, Argyll
Pay: £13.30 ph
Job Purpose
The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for leading, motivating and supporting the housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all holiday accommodation and public areas. The role is hands-on, ensuring team members work safely, efficiently and to company standards while providing coaching, leadership and support. The Team Leader leads by example through inspections, training and ensuring every property is guest-ready.
Team Leadership
· Lead and motivate the housekeeping team during each shift.
· Allocate daily work fairly and efficiently.
· Conduct morning briefings.
· Support induction and training.
· Coach and develop team members.
· Monitor attendance and standards.
· Promote a positive working environment and lad by example.
Operational Responsibilities
· Ensure accommodation meets Argyll Holidays standards.
· Carry out quality inspections.
· Ensure all cleans are to standard.
· Monitor arrival deadlines.
· Report maintenance defects.
· Manage linen and chemical stock.
· Liaise with Reception, Maintenance and Owners Services.
Health & Safety
· Follow COSHH procedures.
· Promote safe working.
· Ensure PPE is used.
· Report hazards and near misses.
· Follow company security procedures.
Customer Service
· Provide friendly, professional service.
· Respond to guest requests and resolve housekeeping issues where possible.
· Escalate complaints appropriately.
Person Specification - Desirable
· Holiday park or hotel experience.
· Knowledge of COSHH.
· Inspection experience.
· First Aid qualification (desirable).
Working Hours
· Rota basis including weekends, bank holidays and peak periods.
