Job Summary:
18 hours per week
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our domestic space. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and be comfortable working in a Care Home environment. If you are enthusiastic about keeping a clean and organized home, this position is perfect for you.
Duties:
- Clean and disinfect all areas of the Care Home, including resident rooms, communal areas, and administrative spaces.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and free of dust, dirt, and other debris.
- Organize and maintain the storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Restock and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Care Home's dining areas.
- Assist with other domestic duties as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Experience working in a Care Home environment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Attention to detail to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and guidelines.
- Good communication skills to interact with Care Home staff and residents.
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
