Paid Mental Health Peer Support Training

Would you like to learn and develop the skills to support others based on your own lived experience and gain an accredited level 4 qualification in mental health Peer Support?
Recovery Partners are recruiting 5 adults living in the Sussex area, with lived experience of mental health challenges to complete a twelve-week, mental health peer support worker training course in Autumn 2026.
These paid, online training roles offer successful candidates the opportunity to learn the required skills to work as a Peer Support worker.
Details
- We are keen to hear from global majority applicants and younger applicants (aged 18-30)
- Successful candidates would be required to commit to one day per week for 12 weeks and complete a 1500-word case study, a 15-minute presentation and completing a workbook to evidence competencies to gain the accredited qualification. There is an option to still pass the course without completing the accompanying case study, presentation, and workbook. However, please note that successful candidates will not receive the accredited qualification.
- Successful candidates will be provided with extra online 1-1 and group supervisory support from Recovery Partners throughout the 12 weeks, as well as support in developing a careers pathway plan.
- Candidates must attend a minimum of 80% of the course. Support will be provided throughout the course.
- Candidates must have reliable internet connections and be able to access Zoom.

- Notification of shortlisting – 30/7/26 If you do not hear from us by this date, your application will have been declined.
- Interviews will be held on the 7 and 11 of August. Details of the venue will be issued with the shortlisting notification. If you have any access requirements or reasonable adjustments, please make this known in your application form.
- There are two options for attending the course: 16/9/26 - 2/12/26 or 18/9/26 - 4/12/26 We can’t guarantee that you will be allocated your preferred option.
