My Purchasing Partner (MPP) are a well-established team of procurement consultant specialists, collaborating with clients across the healthcare, education, contract catering, hospitality & leisure sectors. As a successful and growing business, we are now seeking to appoint a positive and forward-thinking Purchasing Support Executive to join the team on a full-time basis from our Wakefield office, supporting the Purchasing Consultants and wider business. Key job responsibilities overview
· Data management and preparation of reports
· Working with datasets from a variety of sources
· Collation and analysis of data for cost comparisons and tender processes
· Presentation and development of reports providing analysis to key stakeholders
· Client and supplier contact liaison
· Management of directories and databases
· Processing of new accounts set up and closures with suppliers
· Obtaining quotes for products and services for clients
· Managing client support mailboxes
Ideal skills and experience required
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Proactive / self-motivated with initiative and a drive to succeed
· Logical and critical thinking
· Good time management and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
· Strong organisational and administrative skills
· Previous experience of working within a small team

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day including a 30-minute unpaid break between 8am and 5pm.
