Harbour Cars is an award-winning independent Porsche specialist, established for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and supplying some of the finest Porsche cars to our customers.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining vehicle sales, customer service and administration. You'll be dealing directly with customers throughout the sales process, managing enquiries, coordinating vehicle preparation and ensuring our customers receive the high level of service Harbour Cars is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Managing customers and sales from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
- Marketing cars for sale.
- Maintaining CRM records and managing customer follow-ups.
- Preparing sales paperwork and supporting the administration of vehicle sales.
- Coordinating vehicle preparation with suppliers.
- Handling warranty claims and customer queries.
- Assisting with vehicle appraisals, part-exchanges and stock purchases as your experience develops.
- Helping maintain the showroom and ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standard.
- Working as part of a small team and getting involved wherever needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years sales experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in cars and good general automotive knowledge.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident dealing with customers and handling sales.
- Good numeracy and administration skills.
- A professional, personable and positive attitude.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- Previous car sales experience.
- Knowledge of Porsche and its model range.
- Experience with vehicle appraisals or part-exchanges.
- Experience using CRM/ DMS systems.
What We Offer
- £26,000–£30,000 basic salary, depending on experience. [Un-capped bonus with OTE of £40,000+]
- Contributory pension scheme.
- 20 days' holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays.
- 5-day working week, Monday–Saturday, with one weekday off.
- 8am–5pm.
- No Sundays or Bank Holidays.
- Training and development within the specialist performance car market.
