PWAcademy offer fun, high quality professional training Musical theatre classes, Acting Classes and ISTD Dance classes as part of our Musical Theatre Academy, Acting and Dance Academy.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic musical theatre Singing teacher to join our growing team. We look for teachers with lots of character and energy who can effectively deliver our classes, and workshops to our PWA students (7yrs to 8 yrs). Applicants must be confident in both teaching and performing in front of the children, patient, bubbly, and extremely outgoing. Reliability is particularly important, and you must have a genuine desire to offer young children/teens a positive introduction to musical theatre. Overall, we want you to be a great role model, and someone that our students aspire to be like.
For this role, you must have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to share your passion of musical theatre. The position involves both coordinating and delivering our singing module musical theatre classes to a high standard. Therefore, previous experience in musical theatre is preferable. The successful applicants will be offering, classes, private classes, workshops and doing taster sessions in local primary schools in the North Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire area. We will also train the successful candidate for our kids Princess-Superhero Party role - offering themed parties in the area. The applicant will be given on-board training with us, teaching our ethos and will be able to work with the Principal to gain further knowledge of the curriculum that is already taught at the Academy.
· LAMDA Musical Theatre Singing examinations taken with students
· Yearly Musical theatre shows are taught in the Curriculum
