Darkstone Capital is an emerging trading technology and education business built around one core objective:
Build a modern trading business that combines professional trading technology, education and a physical trading environment.
We have already built the foundations of the business, including a growing portfolio of proprietary trading technology, automated trading systems, indicators and digital products distributed through platforms such as MQL5.
The next stage is about turning those foundations into a real, scalable business.
Our vision is to establish a physical trading office/trading floor, where traders can access professional trading technology, education, mentorship and workspace — whilst continuing to develop and sell our own trading technology globally.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director / Founding Business Partner to join us at this early stage.
This is not a conventional paid employment position.
We are looking for someone who wants to become genuinely involved in building a company and potentially take an equity position through a business buy-in/investment.
The ideal person will bring more than capital.
We are looking for someone with proven commercial experience who understands how to take an early-stage business, create structure, develop revenue streams, control costs and ultimately build a profitable operation.
You don’t necessarily need to come from the trading industry.
In fact, our preference may be someone with strong experience in business, operations, sales, management or entrepreneurship, whilst our existing expertise covers trading, trading technology and education.

- A physical Darkstone trading office/trading floor
- Monthly and yearly trading desk memberships
- Trading education and structured courses
- One-to-one and group mentorship
- Training traders to use professional trading technology
- Continued development and sale of proprietary trading technology

- Trading technology subscriptions and licensing
- A community of traders operating from the Darkstone environment
- Corporate partnerships and future expansion
The objective is to create something much bigger than a collection of trading products.
We want to build a trading company and a trading environment.
Your Role
As Managing Director / Founding Business Partner, you would work alongside the founder to help build and operate the business.
Your responsibilities could include:
- Developing and executing the company’s commercial strategy
- Building business systems and processes
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Revenue and sales strategy
- Business development and partnerships
- Marketing and customer acquisition
- Operational management
- Helping establish and manage the physical trading office
- Developing new commercial opportunities
- Building a sustainable and profitable business model
- Helping recruit and manage future staff
- Providing strategic direction as the company grows
The founder’s primary focus would remain on trading, trading technology, product development, education and mentorship, whilst the Managing Director would bring the commercial and operational expertise required to turn those assets into a scalable company.
Who We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in someone who:
- Has significant experience running or managing a business
- Has a strong commercial mindset
- Understands how to build profitable operations
- Is confident making decisions and taking responsibility
- Has entrepreneurial ambition
- Can build systems rather than simply work within them
- Is comfortable working in an early-stage environment
- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Understands sales, marketing and business development
- Is willing to get hands-on and build rather than simply advise
Experience in financial services, trading, fintech, technology, education or workspace businesses would be advantageous, but is not essential.
More important is your ability to identify an opportunity and turn it into a commercially viable business.
Investment / Equity
This opportunity is intended for someone who is interested in becoming a genuine business partner, rather than an employee.
We are open to discussing a structured investment/buy-in into the company in exchange for an agreed equity position.
The investment would be used primarily to accelerate the company’s development, potentially including:
- Establishing a physical office
- Initial rent and operating costs
- Office infrastructure and equipment
- Marketing and customer acquisition
- Further technology development
- Staffing and operational costs
- Working capital
The exact investment amount, equity percentage, responsibilities and structure would be discussed privately with suitable candidates following an initial conversation.
We are not looking for someone simply because they have money.
We are looking for someone who can bring capital, experience, connections, commercial thinking and genuine commitment to the table.
