Duties
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates by analysing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Support the Contracts team by managing contract documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with project teams to track project progress, monitor costs, and identify potential budget variances.
- Contribute to cost control efforts by reviewing expenses and supporting financial reporting activities.
- Coordinate communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Assist in reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Support the preparation of bid proposals, tender submissions, and contractual amendments as needed.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and contract documentation.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Basic understanding of construction or engineering project processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential; experience with project management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost control principles to support budget management efforts.
