We are looking for a reliable and friendly Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering prescription medications, medical supplies, and healthcare products directly to patients’ homes.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play an important part in supporting our patients and helping ensure they receive the medication when they need them.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver prescription medications, medical supplies, and pharmacy products to patients’ homes.
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately, safely, and within the required timeframe.
- Verify delivery addresses and follow delivery instructions carefully.
- Provide a friendly, professional, and respectful service to patients at the point of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy team members regarding deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the company vehicle and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all company procedures relating to the safe handling and delivery of medications and healthcare products.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all patients with dignity and respect.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and organised, with excellent time-management skills.
- A confident and safe driver with a valid driving licence and a clean driving record.
- Friendly and professional, with excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a wider pharmacy team.
- Able to handle deliveries responsibly and with discretion.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Working Hours
15 hours per week 3 hours per day, Monday–Friday 2:00pm–5:00pm with a degree of flexibility if and when required.
