The Role
We’re looking for a confident, energetic TikTok Live Auction Host to present and sell technology products through our live broadcasts.
You’ll be the face of Tech Drops on TikTok—demonstrating products, running auctions, answering questions and keeping viewers engaged. The ideal candidate is a natural entertainer who can build trust, think quickly and turn product features into compelling reasons to buy.
Key Responsibilities
- Host lively, entertaining TikTok Live auctions
- Present and demonstrate products clearly and confidently
- Explain product features, benefits, condition and value accurately
- Build excitement and encourage viewers to bid or purchase
- Respond to live comments and questions in real time
- Keep broadcasts moving smoothly and maintain audience energy
- Follow auction formats, promotional scripts and brand guidelines
- Work with the production and operations teams to prepare products
- Learn key details about each product before going live
- Help develop new formats, segments and audience-engagement ideas
- Support promotional content for upcoming live events
- Review performance data and help improve future broadcasts
- Represent Tech Drops professionally and responsibly at all times
About You
- Confident, charismatic and comfortable speaking on camera
- Naturally engaging, upbeat and quick-thinking
- Able to explain technology in simple, appealing language
- Comfortable selling without sounding scripted or overly pushy
- Strong at building rapport and maintaining audience attention
- Reliable, punctual and well prepared
- Able to handle pressure and unexpected moments during live broadcasts
- Interested in consumer technology, social media and live commerce
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends
Desirable Experience
- Experience hosting livestreams, auctions, events or social content
- Sales, retail, presenting, acting or customer-service experience
- Familiarity with TikTok Live and current social-media trends
- Knowledge of smartphones, gaming products, computers, accessories or other consumer technology
- Experience working toward sales or engagement targets
Previous professional presenting experience is welcome but not essential. Personality, knowledge about tech and confidence and the ability to connect with an audience matter most.
