Job Summary
Luxcort Sustainable Fashion UK Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Sustainable Fashion Operations Manager to oversee ethical fashion operations, responsible sourcing, supply-chain coordination, and operational performance in Manchester. This role is ideal for a fashion operations professional who understands sustainable materials, apparel production, supplier management, and environmental improvement.
The successful candidate will work across production, procurement, logistics, quality, and commercial teams to ensure that products are delivered efficiently while supporting the company’s sustainability objectives and customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day operations across sustainable fashion production, sourcing, inventory, and order fulfilment
- Develop operational plans that improve efficiency, product quality, delivery performance, and cost control
- Coordinate with manufacturers, textile suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners
- Support the responsible sourcing of fabrics, packaging, trims, and production materials
- Review supplier performance, lead times, production capacity, quality results, and sustainability practices
- Monitor inventory levels, purchasing requirements, production schedules, and customer order fulfilment
- Work with design, merchandising, marketing, finance, and e-commerce teams to support seasonal collections and product launches
- Establish practical procedures for waste reduction, material efficiency, returns management, and responsible production
- Maintain accurate operational records, supplier documentation, performance reports, and sustainability data
- Identify supply-chain risks and implement appropriate contingency and improvement measures
- Support compliance with applicable company policies, product requirements, labour standards, and environmental commitments
- Lead, coach, and support operations team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Relevant experience in fashion operations, apparel production, supply-chain management, retail operations, or sustainable sourcing
- Strong understanding of garment production processes, supplier coordination, inventory management, and product quality
- Knowledge of sustainable materials, ethical sourcing, circular-fashion principles, or environmental improvement practices
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage several suppliers, projects, deadlines, and operational priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with internal teams, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and commercial partners
- Experience using inventory, order-management, procurement, ERP, or reporting systems is desirable
- A degree or professional qualification in Fashion Management, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Business Operations, Textiles, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will be considered

Pay: £41,869.40-£82,171.70 per year
