Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for cats and other small animals over weekends. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of animals in their own homes while their owners are away. This role requires a genuine love for animals, reliability, and the ability to handle various pet-related tasks with ease.
Duties
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, and administering medication as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets in your care.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of pets, reporting any concerns to the owners promptly.
- Engage in playtime and exercise to ensure pets remain active and happy.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and any issues that may arise.
- Manage schedules for multiple clients while ensuring timely visits.
Skills
- Strong background in animal care, demonstrating knowledge of various pet needs and behaviours.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners and ensure their peace of mind while they are away.
- A reliable and trustworthy nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality pet care at all times.
We are a very well established company that is ever expanding. We looking for a reliable and committed individual to assist with cat home visits over weekends.
This is a self employed role and more of an ad hoc basis. The hours will vary and will not be every weekend, though we are booked more often than not these days. Typically visits are around 30 minutes long twice a day for most of our clients.
This role would suit someone looking to earn a little extra on the side.
