We’re the UK’s leading gone past best before food wholesaler, specialising in ambient food and drink products. We work with manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers to rescue perfectly good products that would otherwise go to waste.
This is a fast-moving, commercial buying role, where your decisions genuinely make an impact. You’ll have the freedom to build supplier relationships, negotiate deals, spot opportunities and help shape one of the UK’s fastest-growing surplus food businesses.If you love finding opportunities, negotiating great deals and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Buying a wide range of best before date ambient food and drink products across multiple categories.
- Building long-term relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and distributors throughout the UK.
- Identifying new suppliers and exciting buying opportunities.
- Monitoring market trends, pricing and competitor activity to keep us one step ahead.
- Making commercial buying decisions based on stock levels, demand, customer trends and profitability.
- Working closely with our warehouse teams to ensure deliveries run smoothly and stock arrives on time.
- Processing purchase orders accurately and ensuring supplier information is maintained.
- Resolving supplier queries relating to deliveries, pricing and product quality quickly and professionally.

- Someone who can think quickly, make confident commercial decisions and spot opportunities.
- Strong numeracy skills with a good understanding of margins and pricing.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- A positive attitude, lots of initiative and a genuine passion for buying
- Working from home on a Friday - Monday to Thursday - office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,930.00 per year
