General Manager. Zarley's Wine Bar & Grill | Beverley
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and driven General Manager to help lead our growing team at Zarley's.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous hospitality management experience who is ready to take ownership, lead from the front and grow with the business. Full training will be provided where needed, so attitude and leadership are just as important as experience.
About the Role
As General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service while supporting and motivating the team behind the scenes.
You'll work closely with the directors to maintain high standards, improve operations and help drive the business forward.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading, motivating and developing the restaurant team.
- Managing daily restaurant operations.
- Creating and managing staff rotas.
- Assisting with stock control and stock counts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Administrative duties and keeping records organised.
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Supporting recruitment, training and staff development.
- Maintaining high standards across the restaurant.
- Using spreadsheets and computer systems confidently.
- Helping implement new ideas and improve efficiency.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- An experienced hospitality manager (preferred).
- A natural leader who leads by example.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using computers, Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
- Comfortable handling administration and paperwork.
- Calm under pressure and able to solve problems.
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Eager to learn and continue developing.
Training & Development
Previous management experience is preferred, however full training can be provided for the right person. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and leadership qualities.
