Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing excellent service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety and alcohol licensing regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems, handle payments, and provide correct change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours and assist in setting up or closing down the bar shift
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices is highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions quickly and accurately
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a lively bar environment

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 14.0 – 30.0 per week
