Grace Kelly’s Irish Bar is preparing to open its doors, and we’re looking for an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to become a key part of our management team.
This isn’t just about running shifts. We’re looking for someone who wants to get involved, bring ideas to the table and work closely alongside the Manager to help make Grace Kelly’s a success from day one.
We’re expecting a very busy opening period, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, leading from the front and keeping standards high when the bar is at full capacity.
What we’re looking for
- Previous bar supervisory or senior bartending experience is essential
- Strong cocktail knowledge and practical cocktail-making experience
- Experience pouring and serving Guinness to a consistently high standard
- Confidence leading and supporting a bar team during busy services
- Ability to work closely with the Manager and support with the day-to-day running of the venue
- A hands-on attitude — we want someone who leads from the front
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good knowledge of bar standards, cleanliness, stock control and responsible alcohol service
- Ability to help train and develop members of the team
- Reliable, organised and able to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible availability, particularly evenings and weekends
- A creative mindset and willingness to suggest new cocktails, events, promotions and ways to improve the business
The role
As Bar Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operation of Grace Kelly’s.
You’ll help run shifts, motivate the team, maintain excellent service standards, deal with customer queries, support staff training and make sure the venue is ready for busy trading periods.
We also want you to have a voice within the business. Creativity is encouraged. Whether you have an idea for a new cocktail, an event, a better way of doing something or something you'd love to see behind the bar, we want to hear it.
